We are seeking a Penerjemah Bahasa Mandarin Profesional to join our fast‑growing e‑commerce and IT operations team. The ideal candidate will act as a linguistic bridge between Indonesian‑speaking management and Mandarin‑speaking partners, ensuring seamless communication across daily operations, project meetings, and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities
- Translate written and spoken communication between Mandarin and Indonesian for internal teams, external vendors, and customers.
- Facilitate real‑time interpretation during e‑commerce and IT meetings, ensuring that technical terminology is accurately conveyed.
- Compile, summarize, and submit daily reports from all divisions to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and any operational issues.
- Assist in coordinating cross‑functional problem‑solving sessions, helping to resolve operational bottlenecks that involve multiple departments.
- Prepare concise meeting minutes and action‑item lists, then distribute them to relevant stakeholders in both languages.
- Maintain and update translation glossaries, style guides, and reference materials to promote consistency across the organization.
- Utilize Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to create polished documents, data dashboards, and presentation decks.
- Support the marketing team in adapting product descriptions, promotional content, and customer service scripts for Mandarin‑speaking markets.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on emerging e‑commerce platforms, data analytics tools, and industry best practices.
- Provide occasional ad‑hoc translation support for legal contracts, compliance documents, and vendor agreements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of professional translation experience, preferably in an e‑commerce or IT environment.
- Fluent in both Mandarin (spoken and written) and Indonesian with strong command of business terminology.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to act as a trusted liaison between diverse teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable handling data‑driven reports.
- Strong attention to detail, time‑management skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Open to working flexible hours, Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
