Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Kapten Bar – Pengelola Operasional Bar to join our hospitality team. This pivotal role oversees the daily operations of the bar, ensuring seamless service delivery, optimal inventory control, and an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of hands‑on bar management experience, strong leadership abilities, and a hospitality‑focused mindset. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all bar activities, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain drink menus, incorporating seasonal trends and guest preferences while ensuring cost‑effective pricing.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, place orders with suppliers, and minimize waste through effective rotation practices.
  • Train, mentor, and schedule bar staff, fostering a collaborative team environment and ensuring coverage during peak hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Monitor service quality, handle guest complaints promptly, and implement corrective actions to maintain high satisfaction scores.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and front‑of‑house departments to coordinate beverage pairings and special events.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports, analyzing sales data to identify growth opportunities.
  • Enforce responsible alcohol service policies, checking IDs and adhering to local licensing regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional bar appearance, ensuring all equipment is functional and well‑maintained.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (or SMA/SMK for entry‑level positions); relevant hospitality or culinary degrees are a plus.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in bar or food‑and‑beverage operations; fresh graduates may be considered for Daily Worker roles.
  • Strong understanding of hotel and restaurant operations, including POS systems and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine hospitality mindset oriented toward guest satisfaction.
  • Professional appearance, disciplined work ethic, honesty, and accountability.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with flexibility for shift work, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Proficiency in food and beverage management software and basic financial reporting.
  • Gender: Open to all; age limit as defined by company policy.
