Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Petugas Kasir Toko Ritel dan Layanan Pelanggan (Retail Cashier and Customer Service Officer) to join our dynamic team. This position serves as the front‑line interface between the store and its customers, ensuring smooth cash transactions, accurate record‑keeping, and a welcoming shopping experience. The ideal candidate will combine strong numerical abilities with excellent interpersonal skills, helping to drive sales while maintaining the high standards of service that define our brand.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, scanning items, processing cash, credit, and digital payments.
  • Verify transaction accuracy, issue receipts, and handle refunds or exchanges in accordance with store policy.
  • Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, preparing detailed cash reports for management.
  • Assist customers with product inquiries, provide recommendations, and resolve any complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Maintain a tidy checkout area, ensuring all promotional displays and signage are up‑to‑date.
  • Collaborate with inventory staff to record stock movements, flag low‑stock items, and support regular inventory counts.
  • Participate in daily briefings, share feedback from customers, and suggest improvements to improve store performance.
  • Adhere to all company security procedures, including fraud detection, loss‑prevention tactics, and proper handling of sensitive customer data.
  • Support promotional events by upselling featured products and processing special discount codes.
  • Provide backup assistance to other store departments during peak hours, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age limit: maximum 30 years.
  • Gender: Female (per company policy).
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in a retail cashier or customer‑service role.
  • Proficiency with standard cashier systems and basic computer literacy.
  • Strong numerical accuracy, honesty, and discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, showing flexibility in shift scheduling (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
  • Problem‑solving mindset, with a focus on delivering prompt and courteous solutions to customer issues.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle occasional lifting of merchandise.
