Introduction

We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Petugas Resepsionis Hotel Bintang Lima to join our prestigious five‑star property. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our discerning guests, delivering impeccable service and ensuring a seamless check‑in and check‑out experience. This role is critical to maintaining the hotel’s reputation for excellence, especially during the night shift when attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving are paramount.

Responsibilities

  • Perform front‑desk operations including guest registration, room allocation, and issuing of keys using the VHP Hotel Management System.
  • Conduct Night Audit procedures, reconciling all daily transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accurate posting of charges.
  • Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and special requests with professionalism and a courteous demeanor.
  • Monitor and respond to telephone calls, email reservations, and online booking platforms promptly.
  • Maintain the lobby area and reception desk in a clean, organized, and welcoming condition at all times.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and maintenance teams to address any guest concerns or operational issues during the night shift.
  • Prepare and hand over detailed shift reports to the morning team, highlighting any incidents, pending requests, or irregularities.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health and safety regulations, and data protection standards.
  • Promote ancillary services such as spa, restaurant, and concierge offerings, enhancing the overall guest experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Gender: Male.
  • Age: Not older than 27 years.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience as a front‑desk receptionist in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Proficiency with the VHP Hotel Management System; prior Night Audit experience is a strong advantage.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial and guest information.
  • Willingness to work night shifts (23:00 – 07:00) from Tuesday to Sunday.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities, with a calm and solution‑focused attitude under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work independently during overnight hours.
