As a Picker / Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately and delivered on time. Responsibilities
The role is divided into two core functions: Picker and Packer. While some candidates may specialize in one area, cross‑training is encouraged to provide operational flexibility.
- Picker Duties
- Monitor incoming orders through the warehouse management system and prioritize them based on delivery schedules.
- Print and verify inventory (inv) orders to ensure the correct items are selected.
- Locate and retrieve items from storage locations, using handheld scanners to confirm SKU accuracy.
- Perform periodic cycle counts to maintain inventory integrity.
- Report any discrepancies, stock shortages, or damaged goods to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking zone, adhering to safety standards.
- Packer Duties
- Scan barcodes on each item to confirm it matches the order documentation.
- Package products according to company guidelines, ensuring proper cushioning and labeling.
- Apply shipping labels, handling instructions, and any required documentation.
- Coordinate with the dispatch system to notify drivers when orders are ready for pickup.
- Load packed orders into driver bags or pallets, verifying that each driver receives the correct shipments.
- Conduct final quality checks to minimize returns and customer complaints.
- Assist with general warehouse duties such as receiving, shelving, and periodic cleaning when workload permits.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum junior high school (SMP/MTS) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Gender: Male (as specified by the client).
- Experience: No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg, stand for long periods, and walk briskly throughout the warehouse.
- Strong ability to follow written and verbal instructions with precision.
- Basic computer literacy – comfortable using scanning devices and warehouse software.
- Good communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
