We are expanding our footprint across the region and are looking for a dedicated Barista to join the team at our Gerai Grojogan outlet. This is a full‑time, on‑site position that offers the chance to develop professional barista skills in a dynamic, customer‑centric environment while contributing to the brand’s reputation for quality and hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee drinks—including espresso, cappuccino, latte, cold brew, and specialty seasonal creations—following Grojogan’s standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other coffee‑making equipment, ensuring optimal performance and routine cleaning schedules.
- Handle point‑of‑sale (POS) transactions accurately, manage cash drawers, and process credit card payments while maintaining a friendly, efficient checkout experience.
- Engage with customers to recommend beverages, answer questions about flavor profiles, and provide personalized service that encourages repeat visits.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment, including regular sanitization of workstations, equipment, and seating areas in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, pastries, and other consumables; notify the manager of low stock and assist with receiving deliveries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shift handovers, share best practices, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
- Adhere to all company policies, including punctuality, dress code, and confidentiality of proprietary recipes.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (per company policy for this location).
- Age: 18‑35 years.
- Polished personal appearance and a friendly demeanor.
- Demonstrated honesty, responsibility, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Not currently bound by an exclusive employment contract with another employer.
- Own a motorbike for reliable commute to the outlet.
- Residence near the Gerai Grojogan location is preferred.
- Basic barista skills or a willingness to undergo intensive on‑the‑job training.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
