Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed explanations of daily specials and beverage selections.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff, and ensure timely delivery to the table.
- Monitor tables throughout service, anticipate guest needs, and respond quickly to any requests or concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and resetting tables, polishing silverware, and ensuring proper table settings.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen personnel, bartenders, and fellow servers to coordinate smooth service flow, especially during peak periods.
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, process orders through the POS system, and reconcile receipts at the end of each shift.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards, including proper food handling, personal hygiene, and emergency procedures.
- Participate in pre‑shift briefings and post‑shift debriefings to share feedback, suggest improvements, and stay informed about menu updates.
- Uphold the restaurant’s brand standards by delivering courteous, friendly, and professional service at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 28 years old or younger.
- Gender: All genders are welcome.
- At least 1 year of experience as a waiter/waitress or in a comparable customer‑service role. Fresh graduates with strong interpersonal skills are also encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication and active listening abilities.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and thrive under pressure during busy service periods.
- Customer‑oriented mindset with a genuine desire to serve and assist guests.
- Honesty, attention to detail, friendliness, helpfulness, and politeness are essential personal attributes.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service techniques and standards.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
