Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Product Promotor to join our fast‑growing sales team in Malang. This role is the front‑line ambassador of our brand, responsible for creating buzz, driving trial, and converting shoppers into loyal customers across retail outlets in Malang and its surrounding areas. The successful candidate will combine strong communication skills with a passion for hands‑on marketing, delivering memorable product experiences that directly boost store sales.
Responsibilities
- Execute on‑site marketing activities such as product demonstrations, promotional events, and trial sessions in retail stores to attract foot traffic.
- Educate customers on product benefits, usage instructions, and value propositions, guiding them toward purchase decisions.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with store managers, staff, and end‑consumers to foster repeat business and brand loyalty.
- Collect and maintain a detailed prospect database, capturing contact information, purchase intent, and feedback for future follow‑up.
- Monitor competitor activity within the assigned territory and report market insights to the sales manager.
- Provide regular on‑site visual merchandising support, ensuring product displays comply with brand standards.
- Travel daily across Malang and nearby districts on a company‑provided motorcycle, adhering to a fixed schedule of 08:00‑16:00, Monday through Saturday.
- Report daily activity logs, sales figures, and promotional effectiveness using the company’s CRM system.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Male candidates only, age not exceeding 30 years.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in retail promotion, direct sales, or field marketing.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage diverse customer groups.
- Strong personal presentation, confidence, and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Physically fit and mentally resilient; capable of standing for long periods and handling a dynamic work environment.
- Valid motorcycle (SIM C) and willingness to travel throughout Malang and surrounding areas.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt quickly to changing promotional schedules.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and use of mobile reporting tools.
