As an Assistant Baby Advisor, you will play a key role in guiding families through our product range, maintaining a welcoming store environment, and supporting the achievement of sales targets.
The role operates on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and national holidays, with working hours from 08:00 to 17:00, Tuesday through Sunday. Candidates residing in Medan or nearby areas are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, understand their needs, and provide knowledgeable assistance on baby‑care products.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring displays are tidy and inviting.
- Arrange and refresh product displays according to company visual‑merchandising standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and report discrepancies to the store manager.
- Assist in processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point‑of‑sale system.
- Support the store’s sales goals by actively promoting promotions, upselling complementary items, and following up with customers.
- Develop strong, trust‑based relationships with customers, encouraging repeat visits and brand loyalty.
- Participate in product training sessions to stay up‑to‑date with the latest baby‑care innovations and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shift handovers and consistent service quality.
- Adhere to company policies regarding shift attendance, punctuality, and professional appearance.
Requirements
- Male or female candidates; gender is not a restriction.
- Maximum age of 30 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Ability to read Al‑Qur’an is mandatory.
- Open to fresh graduates as well as individuals with prior retail experience.
- Presentable, clean appearance with strong communication skills.
- Proven customer‑service orientation and the ability to handle inquiries courteously.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and national holidays.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to be assigned to any store location as needed.
- Residence in Medan or surrounding areas is highly desirable.
- Basic digital communication skills, negotiation techniques, and familiarity with sales administration.
- Analytical mindset to understand sales data and contribute ideas for improving store performance.
