Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with thorough knowledge of daily specials.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, promptly communicate them to the kitchen and bar, and ensure any special dietary requests are clearly noted.
  • Serve dishes and drinks according to the restaurant’s standards, checking for guest satisfaction at each course.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, including table settings, silverware, glassware, and side stations throughout the shift.
  • Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and all standard operating procedures (SOPs) to guarantee a safe dining experience.
  • Handle guest inquiries, resolve minor complaints, and coordinate with management for any escalated issues.
  • Process payments efficiently using POS systems, issue receipts, and ensure accurate cash handling.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to ensure seamless service flow during both lunch and dinner service periods.
  • Participate in pre‑shift briefings, post‑shift debriefs, and regular training sessions to continuously improve service quality.
  • Assist with inventory checks, restocking of service items, and reporting of any equipment or supply shortages.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a background in culinary arts (tata boga) is a strong advantage.
  • Age: 30 years old or younger; open to all genders.
  • Previous experience in F&B, especially in upscale or fine‑dining settings, is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English to interact with a diverse clientele.
  • Professional demeanor, honesty, and the ability to follow established SOPs consistently.
  • Flexibility to work full‑time shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Excellent teamwork orientation, with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays safely.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences and a keen eye for detail.
