Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Remedial Officer (Collection) to join our dynamic team in Probolinggo, Jawa Timur. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely recovery of outstanding accounts receivable (A/R Overdue) for a leading multi‑finance institution. The ideal candidate will be a detail‑oriented professional with strong interpersonal skills, a knack for negotiation, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity.
The position offers a full‑time schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00, providing a structured work environment while allowing for meaningful impact on the company’s financial health.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end‑to‑end collection process for overdue accounts, ensuring all payments are secured within established timelines.
- Conduct regular follow‑ups with delinquent customers via phone, email, and in‑person visits to negotiate repayment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities, updating the accounting system with payment statuses and remarks.
- Analyze aging reports to prioritize high‑risk accounts and develop targeted strategies for recovery.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and credit departments to understand client histories and resolve disputes.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection performance reports for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards throughout the collection cycle.
- Provide feedback to the product development team regarding recurring payment issues that may indicate systemic problems.
- Assist in training new team members on best practices for effective collection and customer communication.
- Continuously seek ways to improve collection efficiency, such as implementing reminder automation or refining negotiation scripts.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3/S1 in any discipline is preferred.
- Age: Up to 30 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: Fresh graduates are welcome; 1+ year of experience in collections or a related finance role is a strong advantage.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of multi‑finance business processes and a target‑driven mindset.
- Core Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, effective negotiation techniques, high integrity, perseverance, meticulous attention to detail, and honesty.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel), familiarity with ERP or collection management software is desirable.
- Work Schedule: Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑16:00.
