Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the financial operations of our upscale hotel and safari resort located in the scenic region of Prigen, East Java. This pivotal role will drive financial performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic growth initiatives within the hospitality and tourism sector. The successful candidate will report directly to the Finance Controller and work closely with senior leaders across hotel, food & beverage, operations, and sales & marketing departments.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management, and capital‑expenditure planning.
- Monitor and analyze revenue streams from rooms, food & beverage, ticketing, and adventure activities, identifying opportunities to enhance profitability.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support the organization’s long‑term objectives.
- Ensure strict compliance with Indonesian tax laws, local regulations, and internal financial policies.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and present key findings to senior management.
- Collaborate with department heads to create realistic budgets, track variances, and enforce cost‑control measures.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and regulatory agencies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of integrity, analytical rigor, and continuous improvement.
- Utilize modern accounting software and ERP systems to streamline processes and improve data accuracy.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency exposure, credit risk, and operational liabilities.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of progressive finance experience, preferably within hospitality, tourism, or related service industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and cash‑flow management.
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent leadership and decision‑making capabilities, with a track record of building high‑performing teams.
- High ethical standards, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy.
- Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to convey financial concepts to non‑financial audiences.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and proficient English (both written and spoken).
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience is required; gender is not a restriction.
