Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Counter – Area Banjarbaru to join our retail team. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, fostering strong customer relationships, and ensuring the store’s visual merchandising standards are consistently met. The successful candidate will operate primarily in the Banjarbaru and Martapura regions, working flexible shift schedules to meet the demands of a bustling retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Aggressively pursue daily and monthly sales targets set by management.
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with existing and prospective customers, delivering personalized service that encourages repeat business.
- Conduct timely follow‑ups with leads and after‑sales contacts to maximize conversion rates.
- Arrange and refresh product displays to attract shoppers and highlight promotional items.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of product pricing, features, and competitive positioning to confidently present solutions.
- Proactively propose additional products and upsell where appropriate, demonstrating confidence and product expertise.
- Ensure the sales floor, storage areas, and personal workspaces are clean, safe, and organized at all times.
- Execute monthly stock opname (inventory counts) and report discrepancies to the store manager.
- Collaborate closely with teammates, sharing insights and supporting joint initiatives to achieve store‑wide goals.
- Adapt to shift schedules, including weekends and holidays, to provide continuous customer service coverage.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 30 years old or younger.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a sales or customer‑service role; retail experience is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- High level of initiative, self‑motivation, and a strong desire to achieve and exceed targets.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Disciplined, punctual, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
- Residency in Banjarbaru, Martapura, or surrounding areas; local knowledge is beneficial.
- Having a pet is considered a plus, reflecting the company’s pet‑friendly culture.
