Introduction
PT Mitra Solusi Indonesia, a leading distributor of agricultural and consumer goods in Central Java, is seeking a dynamic Sales Officer to join our growing team in Salatiga. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for dealers, distributors, and end‑customers, promoting our product portfolio, facilitating credit applications, and ensuring a seamless post‑sale experience. This is a full‑time position with a Monday‑Saturday schedule, offering a competitive salary and performance‑based incentives.
Responsibilities
- Proactively offer and present the company’s product range to existing customers and prospect new accounts within the assigned territory.
- Generate and secure orders through the channel distribution network, capturing accurate initial data and conducting thorough verification of customer documentation.
- Prepare and complete credit applications, liaising with the finance department to ensure timely processing and compliance with internal credit policies.
- Monitor the progress of credit applications, providing regular updates and communicating approval or rejection decisions to dealers and customers.
- Inform customers of payment schedules, due dates, and collection points, and address any inquiries related to invoicing, delivery, or after‑sales support.
- Maintain detailed records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback using the company’s CRM system.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to convey market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing to the overall growth objectives of the sales division.
- Participate in regular training sessions and sales meetings to continuously improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (all majors) – fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Age: ≤ 30 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in B2C sales, preferably in distribution or consumer goods sectors (experience is a strong plus).
- Possession of a valid driving license (SIM A/C) and personal vehicle for field visits.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to negotiate and close sales.
- High level of integrity, perseverance, attention to detail, and honesty.
- Strong organizational abilities, able to manage multiple customer accounts and documentation simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM tools.
