Introduction

PT. Sukses Jaya Mandiri, a leading distributor of consumer goods and industrial products in Central Java, is seeking a dynamic Sales Officer to join its expanding team in Ungaran, Jawa Tengah. This role is essential for driving revenue growth, building strong relationships with both existing and new customers, and ensuring seamless credit processing across the company’s distribution channels. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, results‑oriented professional with a solid foundation in sales, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell the company’s product portfolio to existing accounts and prospect new customers across the Ungaran region.
  • Generate sales orders through the channel distribution network, ensuring accurate capture of initial data and verification of customer information.
  • Prepare, review, and complete all required documentation for credit applications, coordinating closely with the finance department to expedite approvals.
  • Monitor the progress of each credit application, providing timely updates and communicating final decisions to dealers and customers.
  • Inform customers of payment terms, due dates, and collection locations, and address any follow‑up queries to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients through cold‑calling, networking events, and market research.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to tailor promotional activities that align with customer needs and market trends.
  • Track sales performance against targets, prepare weekly and monthly reports, and propose actionable strategies to improve results.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, local business forums, and industry gatherings to enhance brand visibility.
  • Provide feedback to product development teams based on customer insights and market demands.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (any major) – graduates from reputable institutions are encouraged to apply.
  • Age: up to 30 years old.
  • Gender: Male (as per current operational requirements).
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in B2C sales or a related field; fresh graduates with strong internship exposure are welcome.
  • Possession of a valid driving license (SIM A/C) and personal vehicle for field visits.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and build lasting client relationships.
  • High integrity, resilience, meticulous attention to detail, and a reputation for honesty.
  • Proficiency in sales management tools, CRM software, and basic Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
