As a Sales Optik you will be the face of the optical department, providing professional consultations, guiding customers through product selection, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience that builds brand loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Deliver professional eye‑care consultations, explaining lens options, frame styles, and maintenance tips tailored to each customer’s visual needs.
- Assess visual acuity using standard optometric equipment, accurately record results, and recommend appropriate corrective lenses or specialty products.
- Promote and sell a wide range of optical products—including prescription glasses, sunglasses, contact lenses, and accessories—while achieving daily and monthly sales targets.
- Maintain an organized and inviting store layout, ensuring that displays are fully stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
- Handle point‑of‑sale transactions efficiently, process insurance claims, and manage returns or exchanges in accordance with company policy.
- Collaborate with the optical lab team to track order status, expedite urgent orders, and resolve any fitting issues.
- Provide after‑sales support, including follow‑up appointments, warranty information, and troubleshooting for any product concerns.
- Participate in regular product knowledge trainings, staying up‑to‑date with the latest lens technologies, fashion trends, and industry regulations.
- Assist in inventory management, conduct regular stock counts, and report discrepancies to the store manager.
- Uphold all health and safety standards, ensuring that equipment is calibrated and that the work environment complies with local regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 25–35 years (flexible for exceptional candidates).
- At least 2 years of proven experience in optical retail sales or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to operate basic optometric testing equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in Indonesian and basic English is a plus.
- Professional appearance and a customer‑centric attitude.
- Strong teamwork orientation, honesty, diligence, and a proactive work ethic.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Proficiency with sales and inventory management software, reporting tools, and basic office applications.
- Knowledge of optical principles, lens materials, and frame construction is highly desirable.
