Introduction
We are seeking a Barista Profesional – Penyaji Minuman Kopi Berkualitas to join our dynamic team in Purwokerto and its surrounding areas. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for food & beverage service, a strong interest in coffee culture, and the desire to craft exceptional drinks in a fast‑paced environment. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, delivering high‑quality beverages while embodying the hospitality standards that define our brand.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee and tea beverages, adhering to precise recipes and presentation standards.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and teppanyaki equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring consistent taste and quality.
- Engage with customers, providing friendly recommendations, answering inquiries about menu items, and handling special requests.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including daily sanitation of equipment, counters, and seating areas in compliance with health regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies; place orders and receive deliveries as needed.
- Assist in training new team members on barista techniques, safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
- Handle cash transactions and POS operations accurately, ensuring proper documentation of sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate teppanyaki preparations when required, supporting a seamless F&B service flow.
- Respond calmly and efficiently to high‑volume periods, maintaining speed without compromising product quality.
- Contribute ideas for menu innovation, seasonal promotions, and operational improvements to enhance guest experience.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a diploma in culinary arts or hospitality (tataboga) is highly preferred.
- Age between 18 and 30 years.
- Open to all genders; both male and female applicants are encouraged to apply.
- Residency in Purwokerto or nearby districts.
- Demonstrated interest in the food & beverage industry, with a basic understanding of teppanyaki cooking techniques.
- Prior experience (0‑2 years) in a coffee shop, café, or restaurant environment is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present a professional, attractive appearance.
- Strong teamwork orientation, with the capacity to collaborate effectively under pressure.
- High level of personal discipline, reliability, and punctuality.
- Proficiency in basic barista skills, including espresso extraction, milk frothing, and latte art.
