Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive refraction assessments using both manual and automated equipment to determine accurate lens prescriptions.
- Interpret visual acuity results, perform retinoscopy, and recommend appropriate corrective lenses or contact lenses.
- Educate patients on lens options, proper wear and care, and address any concerns regarding vision correction.
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other eye‑care professionals to coordinate referrals and follow‑up care when needed.
- Maintain and calibrate refractive instruments, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
- Document all patient interactions, test results, and prescriptions in the electronic medical record system promptly and accurately.
- Participate actively in ongoing training programs, workshops, and certification courses to stay current with industry advancements.
- Support store managers in inventory control of lenses, frames, and accessories, and assist in visual merchandising when required.
- Provide exceptional customer service, fostering a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the brand’s reputation for professionalism and care.
- Travel to assigned locations across Indonesia, adapting quickly to new environments while maintaining consistent service quality.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Optik Refraksi or related field.
- Maximum age: 30 years.
- All genders are welcome; the role emphasizes competence over gender.
- Unmarried status and not currently enrolled in any other educational program.
- Height: at least 153 cm for females and 160 cm for males.
- Professional appearance with a friendly demeanor.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in Bahasa Indonesia.
- Willingness to undergo all mandatory training sessions and certifications.
- Flexibility to be placed in any region of Indonesia, with the ability to adapt to diverse cultural settings.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and use of practice management software.
