Introduction
The Sales Pengambilan Order (TO) – Area Jambi (Bungo) is a frontline role responsible for capturing and processing customer orders for a leading fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) company operating in the Jambi region. The position is ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy direct interaction with trade partners, possess a solid understanding of the local market, and are eager to grow within a dynamic sales environment. Candidates will work six days a week, from 08:00 to 16:00, and will be based in or near the Bungo area, covering a defined territory across Jambi province.
Responsibilities
- Visit retailers, traditional stores, and modern trade outlets to take daily orders, ensuring accurate capture of product SKUs, quantities, and pricing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shop owners, distributors, and key accounts to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Monitor stock levels at each outlet, report low‑stock situations, and coordinate with the logistics team to arrange timely deliveries.
- Execute promotional activities, product sampling, and merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines.
- Use a company‑provided Android smartphone or tablet to enter orders into the ERP system, generate invoices, and track order status in real time.
- Conduct competitive analysis by observing rival product placements, pricing, and promotional tactics, and relay insights to the sales manager.
- Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets, contributing to the overall revenue growth of the territory.
- Prepare daily activity reports, including sales figures, customer feedback, and market observations.
- Participate in regular training sessions and sales meetings to stay updated on product knowledge, sales techniques, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Age: up to 30 years old.
- Gender: open to all.
- At least 1 year of proven sales experience in the FMCG sector (sales, direct sales, or canvasser roles).
- Reside in or near the assigned area (Bungo, Jambi) and be willing to cover the designated territory.
- Own a motorcycle with a valid SIM C license for travel between customer locations.
- Proficient in operating Android smartphones, tablets, or other mobile devices for order entry and communication.
- Strong business communication skills, including negotiation, active listening, and clear articulation of product benefits.
- Analytical mindset to assess competitor activity and market trends.
- High level of self‑motivation, commitment to sales targets, and ability to work independently.
