Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative (Local) – Yogyakarta to join our expanding sales team. This role focuses on building strong relationships with retail partners, driving product visibility, and achieving sales targets for a leading home appliance brand in the Yogyakarta market. The ideal candidate is a self‑motivated, target‑oriented professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and possesses excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular visits to retail outlets that do not have a dedicated Haier promoter to assess shelf placement and product availability.
- Implement and maintain planograms in stores, ensuring optimal product visibility and compliance with brand standards.
- Communicate ongoing promotions, national campaigns, and special offers to store managers, and provide timely reminders to maximize promotional impact.
- Educate store staff on the features and benefits of Haier products, facilitating informed sales conversations with end‑customers.
- Remind and support retailers in processing E‑Warranty registrations, ensuring after‑sales service compliance.
- Gather market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing trends, and consumer preferences, and report findings to the regional sales manager.
- Prepare daily and weekly activity reports, including visit logs, sales performance, and any issues requiring escalation.
- Utilize digital tools (mobile apps, CRM systems) to track visits, update inventory data, and capture customer feedback.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute in‑store activation events and product demonstrations.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets while contributing to overall regional growth objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably in consumer electronics or home appliances.
- Possession of a valid motorcycle (Roda 2) and an active SIM C driving license.
- Strong target orientation with a demonstrated ability to meet or surpass sales quotas.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with effective negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in using digital devices and basic software applications for reporting and data entry.
- Quick learner with the capacity to absorb product knowledge and market information rapidly.
- Solid understanding of the local retail landscape in Yogyakarta and the ability to navigate it strategically.
- Male candidates only, as specified by current operational requirements.
