We are seeking a dynamic and polished Front Office Receptionist to join a prestigious five‑star hotel. Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet all guests and visitors, creating an immediate sense of welcome and professionalism.
  • Manage the complete check‑in and check‑out process, ensuring accuracy of guest information and billing.
  • Handle reservations through multiple channels (WhatsApp, telephone, walk‑ins, and online platforms) and update the property management system in real time.
  • Provide detailed information about room types, hotel facilities, on‑site amenities, and current promotional offers.
  • Enter guest data meticulously into the reservation system, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Identify upselling opportunities by recommending room upgrades, spa packages, dining experiences, and other ancillary services.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and complaints, escalating when necessary to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Process all forms of payment—including cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic transfers—through the hotel’s EDC terminals.
  • Prepare and submit daily financial and occupancy reports to the Front Office Manager.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing Front Office area, adhering to the hotel’s brand standards.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to coordinate guest requests and special arrangements.
  • Participate in shift handovers, ensuring seamless continuity of service across morning, afternoon, and night shifts.

Requirements

  • Male or female candidates; gender is not a restriction.
  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a diploma in Hospitality Management is preferred.
  • Professional appearance—well‑groomed, clean, and presentable at all times.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, courteous demeanor.
  • Basic computer literacy: proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and comfortable using a property‑management/reservation system.
  • Honest, disciplined, and accountable; able to handle cash and confidential guest data responsibly.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Prior experience in front‑office or guest service roles within hotels is an advantage, though fresh graduates with the right attitude are encouraged to apply.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with the capacity to manage guest complaints efficiently and politely.
