Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Petugas Keamanan (Security Officer) to join our team in the bustling district of Banyumanik. This full‑time position plays a critical role in safeguarding our facilities, employees, and visitors, ensuring a safe and secure environment at all times. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, keen observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while maintaining professional conduct.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols of the premises, both on foot and in designated vehicles, to deter and detect any unauthorized activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification, and manage visitor logs in accordance with company security protocols.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing clear communication to senior staff and coordinating with local law enforcement when necessary.
- Perform thorough security checks of bags, packages, and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident logs, and handover notes for shift transitions.
- Assist in crowd control during events, meetings, and high‑traffic periods, guiding visitors to appropriate areas safely.
- Conduct regular inspections of fire safety equipment, surveillance systems, and access control devices, reporting any deficiencies for immediate remediation.
- Provide first‑aid assistance and basic medical response until professional medical help arrives.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with security best practices, legal requirements, and emergency response procedures.
Requirements
- Male candidates, maximum age of 35 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a security or related safety role.
- Active GP & KTA certifications (Guard Permit and Security Personnel Card).
- Current residence in or near Banyumanik.
- Minimum height of 170 cm.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact courteously with staff, visitors, and external agencies.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and a commitment to confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently, make sound decisions quickly, and remain vigilant during long shifts.
- Basic computer literacy for logging incidents and managing digital access control systems.
