Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Spesialis Loss Prevention to join our security team at the Astro Warehouse facilities in Cibinong and Sentul, Kabupaten Bogor. This critical position focuses on safeguarding assets, minimizing shrinkage, and ensuring a safe environment for staff and customers alike. The successful candidate will work closely with operations, logistics, and management teams to proactively detect and address potential losses.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze daily activities across the operational area to identify patterns or behaviors that may indicate potential loss.
- Conduct routine inspections and spot‑checks to verify that all security procedures, access controls, and surveillance systems are functioning correctly.
- Lead investigations into incidents of theft, vandalism, or inventory discrepancies, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver training sessions for warehouse personnel on loss‑prevention policies, emergency response, and proper handling of high‑value items.
- Coordinate with internal teams—including inventory control, human resources, and senior management—to ensure swift recovery of assets and implementation of preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate logs of incidents, investigations, and preventive activities, ensuring compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
- Assist in the design and improvement of physical security infrastructure, such as CCTV placement, alarm systems, and access‑card protocols.
- Provide mobile support to other hubs or warehouses as needed, traveling to remote sites to conduct audits and assist with incident response.
- Participate in shift rotations and be prepared to work on weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.
- Stay informed about emerging security threats and industry best practices, continuously enhancing the organization’s loss‑prevention strategy.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates, aged 35 years or younger.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in security, loss prevention, or related fields.
- Preferred certifications: Gada Pratama or Gada Madya.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret surveillance data and incident reports.
- Excellent communication and training abilities to effectively convey policies to staff.
- Proficiency in basic security administration tools and incident‑reporting software.
- Willingness to work a shift schedule, including five‑day work weeks that may cover public holidays.
- Readiness to be mobile between the Cibinong and Sentul warehouses and other designated hubs.
- Demonstrated integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset toward risk mitigation.
