Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Cook to join our Culinary Operations team. Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and plate a variety of menu items according to established recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines.
  • Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing on‑the‑job training, feedback, and support to ensure consistent performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist in ordering supplies, and conduct daily stock checks to minimize waste.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations, including proper storage, handling, and temperature control.
  • Ensure the kitchen remains spotless, following sanitation protocols such as regular deep cleaning, equipment maintenance, and proper waste disposal.
  • Collaborate with the head chef and menu development team to suggest new dishes, improve existing recipes, and accommodate special dietary requests.
  • Track preparation times and adjust workflows to meet service demands during peak hours.
  • Document any equipment issues and coordinate timely repairs to avoid operational disruptions.
  • Uphold the restaurant’s brand standards by delivering consistent taste, quality, and visual appeal in every plate.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of hands‑on experience working in a commercial kitchen environment.
  • Proven proficiency in basic cooking techniques, seasoning, and plating.
  • High school diploma, SMA/SMK, or equivalent; culinary certification is a plus.
  • Strong discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills; capable of coordinating with front‑of‑house staff.
  • Commitment to maintaining kitchen cleanliness and complying with all health and safety regulations.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
