Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and personable Staff Member for Ironing and Cleanliness to join our housekeeping team. This full‑time position supports the daily operations of our resident housing facility, ensuring that living spaces remain tidy, comfortable, and welcoming for all occupants. The role offers a stable schedule from Monday to Saturday, with the opportunity to stay on‑site in our secure mess accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Perform high‑quality ironing for resident laundry, adhering to garment care instructions and maintaining a neat presentation.
- Execute routine cleaning duties in common areas, corridors, bathrooms, and individual rooms, using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness standards of the on‑site mess, ensuring a hygienic environment for staff and guests.
- Assist in the nightly inspection of rooms and facilities, reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and ironing materials, placing orders when stock levels are low.
- Collaborate closely with other housekeeping team members to coordinate tasks and meet daily operational goals.
- Maintain accurate logs of completed work, including laundry counts, cleaning schedules, and any incidents.
- Uphold the facility’s security protocols, including key management and visitor registration when on duty.
- Provide courteous assistance to residents, responding to special requests such as urgent laundry or room cleaning.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on safety, infection control, and best practices in hospitality cleaning.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Female candidates only, as per facility policy.
- Age limit: up to 30 years old.
- No prior experience required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong teamwork orientation and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent personal hygiene, honesty, politeness, and a friendly demeanor.
- Willingness to reside in the on‑site mess accommodation.
- Ability to follow written instructions and maintain detailed work records.
- Must provide photocopies of a valid ID (KTP) and educational certificates upon hiring.
- Basic literacy in Bahasa Indonesia and a working knowledge of common cleaning equipment.
