Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Staff Housekeeping and Room Cleanliness professional to join our hospitality team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction that our establishment is known for. The ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude to a fast‑paced environment that operates on a daily shift basis.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces according to the hotel’s standard operating procedures.
- Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure all surfaces, linens, and amenities meet the established quality benchmarks.
- Manage and replenish housekeeping supplies, reporting any inventory shortages to the supervisor in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with front‑desk staff to prioritize room turnover based on guest check‑in and check‑out schedules.
- Handle guest requests for additional amenities, extra towels, or special cleaning needs promptly and courteously.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely, performing routine checks to ensure functionality.
- Adhere to health, safety, and infection‑control guidelines, including proper handling of chemicals and personal protective equipment.
- Document any maintenance issues observed during cleaning and communicate them to the maintenance department.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new cleaning techniques and sustainability practices.
- Assist in deep‑cleaning projects, such as carpet shampooing, window washing, and seasonal sanitization of high‑traffic areas.
Requirements
- Male candidates only, maximum age of 40 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; fresh graduates are welcome.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in housekeeping or a related cleaning role.
- Strong communication skills and an active, team‑oriented attitude.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends (Monday‑Saturday schedule, 08:00‑17:00).
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Reliability, honesty, and a responsible work ethic with a “good attitude” mindset.
- Not currently enrolled in another educational program or employed elsewhere.
- Basic competency in quality control of cleanliness and ability to follow detailed checklists.
