Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces according to the hotel’s standard operating procedures.
- Ensure all linens, towels, and amenities are replenished and presented in immaculate condition.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate closely with other housekeeping staff and hotel departments (front desk, engineering, food & beverage) to coordinate room turnovers and special requests.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely, including vacuums, floor polishers, and carpet extractors, while following proper chemical handling guidelines.
- Adapt to shift schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays, and occasional overtime during peak periods or special events.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for cleaning supplies, guest amenities, and equipment; request restocking when necessary.
- Provide courteous assistance to guests, responding to inquiries or special housekeeping requests with a professional and friendly attitude.
- Participate in regular training sessions on hygiene standards, customer service excellence, and sustainability practices.
- Utilize basic driving skills for internal transport of supplies or guest luggage when required; a valid driver’s license is considered an advantage.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
