The successful candidate will act as the first line of defense for all hardware, software, and infrastructure issues, ensuring that the daily operations of the company run smoothly. Working closely with senior IT engineers, the Junior IT Staff will gain exposure to a broad range of technologies, from desktop support to network troubleshooting and system updates.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and networking problems encountered by internal employees.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
  • Document all support tickets, resolutions, and preventive measures in the company’s IT service management system.
  • Assist in routine maintenance and upgrades of operating systems (primarily Windows 10/11) and standard business applications such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Support the rollout of new software applications, ensuring proper licensing, configuration, and user training.
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff to monitor network performance, respond to alerts, and participate in incident response procedures.
  • Participate in regular inventory checks, asset tagging, and lifecycle management of IT equipment.
  • Contribute to the development of knowledge‑base articles and user guides to improve self‑service capabilities.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service, communicating technical information clearly to non‑technical staff.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and suggest improvements that can increase efficiency or reduce costs.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a help‑desk or technical support role.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Solid understanding of computer hardware components, peripheral devices, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN, Wi‑Fi).
    • Proficiency with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and common business applications.
    • Familiarity with scripting or basic programming (e.g., JavaScript) and database management (MySQL) is a plus.
    • Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication, with a strong service‑orientation.
    • Analytical mindset and problem‑solving abilities to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative IT team.
    • Adaptability to fast‑changing technology environments and willingness to learn.
  • Other Requirements: No age limit, open to all genders, and a commitment to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑16:30.
