Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Operator Wahana – Pengoperasian dan Pemeliharaan Kendaraan to join our dynamic team at a leading amusement and leisure park in Indonesia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation, routine maintenance, and overall reliability of our ride fleet, ensuring an exceptional experience for guests while adhering to strict safety standards and operational protocols.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre‑shift inspections of all rides and vehicles, checking safety devices, hydraulic systems, electrical connections, and structural components.
- Operate amusement rides according to manufacturer guidelines, maintaining smooth and timely cycles for guests.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, belt adjustments, and minor part replacements.
- Document daily operational logs, maintenance records, and incident reports in the park’s management system.
- Respond quickly and effectively to any mechanical failures or emergencies, coordinating with on‑site safety teams and external technicians as needed.
- Provide clear, friendly instructions to guests before each ride, ensuring compliance with height, weight, and health restrictions.
- Collaborate with other operators, supervisors, and the maintenance department to schedule major service work without disrupting park operations.
- Assist in training new staff members on proper ride operation, safety checks, and customer service standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment around each ride, including signage, safety barriers, and evacuation routes.
- Continuously monitor ride performance indicators and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old (flexible based on experience).
- Gender: All genders are welcome.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience operating or maintaining mechanical equipment, preferably in an amusement, theme‑park, or similar recreational setting.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read basic technical diagrams, perform minor repairs, and use hand tools safely.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication abilities, honesty, responsibility, teamwork orientation, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure.
- Physical Requirements: Good eyesight, hearing, and the ability to lift up to 25 kg, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
- Certifications (preferred): Basic first‑aid certification, safety‑aware operator training, or relevant mechanical certifications.
