Introduction
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer‑focused Waiters to join our dynamic restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, input them into the POS system, and communicate any special requests to the kitchen staff.
- Serve dishes and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring each plate is presented according to the restaurant’s standards.
- Monitor tables throughout the service, refilling drinks, checking on satisfaction, and addressing any issues immediately.
- Collaborate closely with chefs, bartenders, and fellow waitstaff to coordinate smooth service flow and minimize wait times.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables, polishing cutlery, and adhering to sanitation protocols.
- Process payments accurately, issue receipts, and handle cash or electronic transactions with integrity.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, such as setting up stations, restocking supplies, and performing end‑of‑day inventory checks.
- Uphold health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, allergen awareness, and emergency procedures.
- Contribute ideas for improving service efficiency, guest satisfaction, and overall restaurant performance.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience in a similar wait‑staff role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Core Skills: Strong food‑and‑beverage service abilities, familiarity with POS systems, and basic math for handling transactions.
- Personal Attributes: Honest, disciplined, and reliable with a professional appearance.
- Teamwork: Ability to work cooperatively with kitchen and front‑of‑house teams, maintaining a positive and supportive work environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication in Bahasa Indonesia and, preferably, basic English to interact with diverse guests.
