Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Staf Penagihan – Collector to join our dedicated collections team covering the Barito Utara area. This role is critical in maintaining healthy cash flow for our portfolio of retail and small‑business customers by conducting face‑to‑face visits, negotiating payment plans, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company standards. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, and will be based in the Barito Utara region, traveling to client locations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Conduct direct, on‑site visits to individual and corporate borrowers to discuss overdue accounts and collect payments.
- Assess each client’s financial situation and propose tailored repayment solutions that align with both the client’s capacity and the company’s credit policies.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily visit reports, including contact outcomes, payment commitments, and any obstacles encountered.
- Track the progress of each collection case using the company’s CRM system, updating statuses in real time to provide accurate forecasting for senior management.
- Maintain strict adherence to internal collection procedures, legal guidelines, and consumer protection regulations to safeguard the company’s reputation.
- Collaborate with the credit, legal, and customer service departments to resolve disputes, arrange payment escalations, or initiate legal actions when necessary.
- Provide feedback on common delinquency trends in the Barito Utara market, helping to refine risk‑assessment models and improve future credit decisions.
- Represent the organization professionally at all times, fostering trust and goodwill with clients and the broader community.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Maximum age: 35 years.
- Gender: Male (as specified by the posting).
- Prior experience in collections, sales, or customer service is advantageous but not required; fresh graduates with strong communication skills are welcome.
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening abilities; fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and basic knowledge of local dialects is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate, persuade, and resolve conflicts calmly.
- High level of integrity and a strong sense of responsibility to follow legal and ethical collection practices.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively throughout the Barito Utara region.
- Proficiency with basic office software (MS Office, email) and comfort using a mobile CRM application.
