Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Staf Penagihan (Collector) – Area Sekadau to join our growing finance team. This role is based in the Sekadau region and focuses on direct customer interaction to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments while maintaining strong relationships with our clients. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the company’s cash flow health, adhering to regulatory standards, and representing our brand with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular, on‑site visits to assigned customers throughout the Sekadau area to initiate and follow up on debt collection activities.
- Engage with customers in a courteous and persuasive manner, clearly explaining payment obligations and offering tailored repayment solutions that fit their financial situation.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily visit reports, documenting client interactions, payment commitments, and progress toward collection targets.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities within the company’s CRM system, ensuring data integrity and traceability.
- Collaborate with the internal credit and legal teams to identify high‑risk accounts and recommend appropriate escalation procedures.
- Stay informed about the latest regulations governing debt collection in Indonesia and ensure all actions comply with both company policy and applicable law.
- Provide feedback to management regarding common payment challenges faced by customers, helping to refine future credit policies and improve customer service.
- Operate a company‑provided motorbike safely and efficiently to travel between client locations, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Male candidates only; age not exceeding 32 years.
- No prior collection experience required – we welcome fresh talent with a strong willingness to learn.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to negotiate and persuade effectively.
- Basic computer literacy for reporting and data entry.
- Valid motorcycle license and proven ability to ride safely.
- High level of integrity, punctuality, and a results‑driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently, manage a daily schedule, and meet collection targets within the stipulated work hours (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
