Introduction
We are seeking a diligent Staf Penagihan Lapangan to join our field collection team in Jayapura. This position is a key component of our credit management process, ensuring that loan repayments are collected efficiently while maintaining professional relationships with our customers. The role involves daily field visits, timely reminders, and, when necessary, the execution of asset recovery procedures in strict compliance with company policies and local regulations. Candidates must be proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working independently across assigned territories.
Responsibilities
- Receive and review the daily visit schedule, then travel to the designated area to conduct collection activities.
- Contact borrowers whose payment due dates are approaching, delivering courteous reminders and offering assistance with payment options.
- Execute collection actions for accounts 1‑60 days past due, including negotiation of repayment plans and, when warranted, arranging for the repossession of financed vehicles.
- Ensure that any vehicle repossession is fully supported by valid administrative documentation, confirming that the asset is indeed financed by the company.
- Hand over collected cash to the teller and coordinate the receipt of returned vehicles with the warehouse, attaching all required supporting paperwork.
- Promote the use of the Adiraku mobile application, guiding customers through the digital payment process to improve collection efficiency.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, updating the central database with visit outcomes, payment statuses, and any issues encountered.
- Provide feedback to the credit and risk departments regarding recurring payment challenges and potential improvements to the collection workflow.
- Adhere to the company’s code of conduct, ensuring respectful and ethical treatment of all borrowers.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 35 years or younger.
- Gender: Male (as per current operational requirements).
- No prior experience required; however, a strong willingness to learn the debt‑collection process is essential.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Basic numeracy and familiarity with financial documents; proficiency with mobile applications is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to cover the assigned field area.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential customer information.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, and adapt to occasional overtime during peak collection periods.
