Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and customer‑focused Staff for Laundry Operations to join our growing team. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and service that our clients expect. The successful candidate will work in a fast‑paced environment, handling a variety of laundry tasks while adhering to strict hygiene protocols.
Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, and process laundry items from residential and commercial clients, ensuring proper segregation of colors, fabrics, and care instructions.
- Operate industrial washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently, following manufacturer guidelines.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment, report any malfunctions, and coordinate with service technicians to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including regular sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Inspect finished garments for quality, address any stains or damages, and apply appropriate remedial actions.
- Accurately record inventory of detergents, softeners, and other consumables, and notify the supervisor when re‑ordering is needed.
- Provide courteous service to customers during pick‑up and delivery, handling inquiries and special requests with professionalism.
- Adhere to shift schedules, including weekend work (Monday‑Saturday), and demonstrate flexibility to cover peak periods.
- Uphold company policies regarding confidentiality, honesty, and trustworthiness when handling client belongings.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a laundry or related hospitality role.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including early mornings and weekends.
- Residency in Dasan Agung or surrounding areas for convenient commute.
- Strong interpersonal skills: friendly, honest, and reliable.
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and follow detailed operational procedures.
- Basic knowledge of fabric types, stain removal techniques, and proper handling of delicate items.
- Physical stamina to lift and carry loads of up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods.
