Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurately recorded, posted, and reconciled.
- Perform detailed variance analysis to identify discrepancies, explain trends, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather source documents, validate transactions, and resolve any accounting issues.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings, ensuring compliance with local, regional, and national tax regulations.
- Develop and update internal financial reporting templates using Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Support the audit process by providing required schedules, documentation, and explanations to external auditors.
- Monitor cash flow, reconcile bank statements, and assist in the preparation of cash forecasts.
- Continuously improve ledger management processes through automation and best‑practice adoption.
- Participate in cross‑functional projects that require financial insight, such as budgeting, cost‑control initiatives, and system implementations.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in financial reporting or ledger management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, macros).
- Hands‑on experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for data accuracy and detail.
- In‑depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Demonstrated integrity, discipline, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to be based in Medan and travel for out‑of‑city assignments when required.
