Responsibilities
- Greet customers courteously, present menus, and answer basic inquiries about dishes and specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using handheld POS devices and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve meals and drinks promptly, ensuring correct presentation, temperature, and portion sizes.
- Monitor tables throughout the dining period, replenish beverages, and respond swiftly to additional guest requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables, polishing silverware, and ensuring a tidy environment.
- Assist with opening and closing duties such as resetting tables, restocking service stations, and completing daily paperwork.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen, bar, and management teams to coordinate smooth service flow and resolve any guest concerns.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations, including proper hand‑washing and sanitation practices.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, service standards, and hospitality best practices.
- Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, while maintaining a positive and energetic demeanor.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA) or Vocational High School (SMK) equivalent.
- Male candidates are preferred; however, the role is open to all qualified individuals.
- Honest, disciplined, well‑groomed, and service‑oriented attitude.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Strong team player with excellent time‑management and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English is a plus.
- Willingness to work in Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, with reliable transportation.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast‑moving restaurant environment and handle guest inquiries professionally.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards; prior experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
