Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Professional Animal Caregiver to join our boutique animal‑wellness center in the heart of Ubud, Bali. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day‑to‑day health, nutrition, and happiness of our resident dogs and cats, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care in a clean, loving environment. Responsibilities
- Provide daily feeding, fresh water, and portion‑controlled meals for all dogs and cats, following specific dietary guidelines.
- Administer routine grooming tasks including bathing, brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning with attention to each animal’s comfort.
- Engage animals in regular exercise and enrichment activities such as walks, play sessions, and interactive toys to promote physical and mental well‑being.
- Assist in the preparation of homemade, nutritionally balanced pet food under the supervision of our senior caretaker.
- Maintain immaculate cleanliness of animal housing, feeding areas, and common spaces; perform daily litter box cleaning, floor mopping, and waste disposal.
- Monitor health indicators (appetite, behavior, coat condition) and promptly report any concerns to the veterinary partner.
- Document daily activities, feeding logs, and any health observations in the facility’s digital record system.
- Support occasional client interactions, offering friendly updates on their pets and answering basic care questions.
- Adhere to a six‑day work schedule (Monday‑Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00, with flexibility for occasional weekend coverage during peak periods.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Female candidates only, as per current operational guidelines.
- Reside in Bali and possess a valid local address for commuting.
- At least basic experience handling both dogs and cats, preferably in a home‑care or boarding setting.
- Genuine love for animals, with a calm and patient demeanor when interacting with multiple or large dogs.
- Excellent physical health and mental resilience to handle active, energetic pets for extended periods.
- Strong sense of honesty, reliability, and the ability to work independently without supervision.
- Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting feed bags, cleaning heavy waste, and cleaning large enclosures.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English is a plus.
- Ability to maintain a clean, hygienic workspace and follow all safety protocols.
