Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily recording of all financial transactions and ensure accurate data entry into the accounting system.
- Prepare, review, and consolidate monthly and annual financial statements, supporting senior management with insightful analysis.
- Conduct bank and account reconciliations to verify the integrity of financial data and promptly resolve discrepancies.
- Manage the company’s accounts payable and accounts receivable, monitoring cash flow, aging reports, and credit limits.
- Coordinate tax reporting activities, ensuring timely submission of VAT, withholding tax, and corporate tax filings in accordance with local regulations.
- Maintain an organized filing system for all financial documents, both electronic and hard copy, to facilitate audit readiness.
- Supervise and mentor a team of accountants and clerical staff, providing training on accounting software, best practices, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional departments such as procurement, sales, and operations to streamline financial processes and improve data accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support strategic planning.
- Participate in internal and external audits, supplying required documentation and explanations as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate) in Accounting; a Bachelor’s degree (S1) is highly preferred.
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in an accounting role, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.
- Professional certification such as Brevet A and Brevet B (or equivalent national accounting qualifications).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, SAP, QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
