Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive vehicle maintenance, inspection, and repair focusing on kaki‑kaki (chassis), spooring‑balancing, and suspension components.
- Diagnose faults using both manual inspection techniques and modern diagnostic tools, identifying issues in wheel alignment, tire balance, steering geometry, and related systems.
- Execute repairs or replace worn parts in accordance with the workshop’s technical standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct routine service procedures such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations, ensuring each job meets the company’s quality benchmarks.
- Adjust and recalibrate wheel alignment and balancing settings based on customer requests and test‑drive feedback.
- Maintain accurate service records, documenting diagnostics, parts used, labor time, and customer approvals.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with senior technicians and service advisors to provide clear communication to customers about required repairs and estimated costs.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with the latest automotive technologies, especially in electric‑vehicle (EV) suspension systems and advanced driver‑assistance systems (ADAS) that affect wheel alignment.
- Travel to and be stationed at any Setiawan Spooring branch as required, supporting the company’s nationwide service network.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a diploma in Automotive Engineering (SMK Otomotif) is preferred.
- No strict age limit; candidates of any age who meet the qualifications are encouraged to apply.
- Gender: Open to all.
- Experience: 0+ years; new graduates with internship (PKL) experience in a workshop are welcome.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair suspension, steering, and wheel‑balancing components.
