Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Supervisor Laundry Operasional to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will lead the laundry department, ensuring that all linens, uniforms, and guest items are processed efficiently, maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, and delivered on time. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding of guest linens, staff uniforms, and other textile items.
- Monitor inventory levels of linens, chemicals, and equipment, and coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely replenishment.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain hygiene, safety, and quality standards in accordance with hospitality regulations.
- Train, coach, and evaluate laundry staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular inspections of laundry equipment, schedule preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot any operational issues.
- Handle guest complaints related to laundry services promptly, offering solutions that exceed expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, waste, and cost metrics to support operational reporting.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, front office, and food & beverage departments to synchronize linen turnover schedules.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies, including proper handling of chemicals and waste disposal.
- Participate in shift rotations, including weekends and public holidays, to guarantee uninterrupted service.
Requirements
- Minimum D3/D4 education (associate degree or higher) in hospitality, business administration, or a related field.
- At least 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a laundry or housekeeping environment within the hospitality industry.
- Strong command of English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with guests and internal teams.
- Guest‑oriented mindset with a proven ability to deliver high‑quality service under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, capable of motivating staff and fostering a positive work environment.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced setting, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
