Introduction
Supermall Karawaci, one of the premier shopping destinations in Tangerang, is seeking a dynamic Supervisor Toko to lead and inspire our retail teams. This full‑time role is based at the Karawaci outlet and offers a vibrant environment where customer service excellence and operational efficiency are paramount. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong academic background, a passion for retail, and the flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of counter staff, ensuring sales targets and service standards are consistently met.
- Oversee visual merchandising by checking displays, arranging products, and coordinating repairs or adjustments as needed.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, handling inquiries, complaints, and promotional activities with professionalism.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Schedule staff rotas, manage shift coverage, and guarantee adequate staffing levels during peak periods.
- Collaborate with senior management to implement store initiatives, promotional campaigns, and inventory control procedures.
- Analyze daily sales reports, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions to improve profitability.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, adhering to all company policies and local regulations.
- Be prepared to travel outside of Karawaci for special projects, training sessions, or inter‑store support when required.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) from any accredited Indonesian university with a GPA of 3.00 or higher.
- Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in the retail sector; fresh graduates with strong internships or project work are also encouraged to apply.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of sales associates.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English is preferred.
- Personal Traits: Hardworking, honest, independent, and capable of thriving under pressure while solving on‑the‑spot problems.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible shift schedules, including Saturdays and Sundays, and to travel out of town when necessary.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office applications.
