We are seeking a dedicated Teller for our Lamongan branch to join a dynamic banking team that values customer service excellence and operational efficiency. As a front‑line representative of the bank, you will be the first point of contact for clients, handling cash transactions, inquiries, and promoting the bank’s suite of financial products. This full‑time position offers a stable schedule from Monday to Sunday, 08:45 – 20:00, allowing you to develop a deep understanding of community banking while growing your professional skill set.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers promptly, creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the bank’s commitment to service.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, and bill payments in strict accordance with the bank’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Verify customer identification documents and ensure compliance with anti‑money‑laundering (AML) regulations.
- Maintain accurate cash balances, perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliations, and report any discrepancies to the branch manager.
- Promote and cross‑sell banking products such as savings accounts, loan services, and digital banking solutions.
- Handle routine inquiries about account status, interest rates, and transaction histories with clear, courteous communication.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow, suggest process enhancements, and assist in training new tellers.
- Work efficiently under pressure during peak hours while preserving accuracy and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: up to 29 years old.
- Gender: open to all candidates.
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer‑service or banking‑teller role.
- Professional appearance: neat, well‑groomed, and presentable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia.
- High level of integrity, honesty, and discipline.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work methodically, and resilience under stressful conditions.
- Preferred residency in Lamongan or surrounding areas to ensure punctuality and community familiarity.
