Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Team Leader Sales Promoter to oversee our sales promotion activities in the Bukittinggi and Payakumbuh regions. This pivotal role combines hands‑on field work with strategic team management to drive brand visibility, increase market share, and achieve aggressive sales targets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commercial mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to lead and motivate a group of sales promoters.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets for the assigned geographic area through effective planning and execution.
  • Conduct daily visits to merchants and establish strong, trust‑based relationships with store point‑of‑contact (PIC) personnel.
  • Ensure that promotional programs are implemented flawlessly, with particular focus on POP (point‑of‑purchase) material placement and brand messaging.
  • Coordinate with partner operational teams to gather intelligence on competitor activities, market trends, and field challenges.
  • Supervise a team of 15‑20 sales promoters, providing clear direction, performance feedback, and motivational support.
  • Monitor daily activities of promoters, track key performance indicators, and generate actionable reports for senior management.
  • Design and deliver regular training sessions, including onboarding, product knowledge refreshers, and skill‑building workshops for the field team.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to align in‑store activations with broader campaign objectives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of store visits, promotional displays, and sales data using company CRM tools.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling, and communicate best practices to the team.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age: Up to 35 years.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, field promotion, or retail management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a small team of sales promoters.
  • Strong analytical skills: competitor analysis, market trend evaluation, and sales data interpretation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with merchants and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in basic office software and familiarity with CRM or sales tracking systems.
  • Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and able to work independently while adhering to a structured schedule (08:00‑17:00).
