Introduction

The Team Leader Sales Promotor – Area Bengkulu is a pivotal role that drives revenue growth and brand visibility for our rapidly expanding financial services portfolio. Based in the vibrant province of Bengkulu, the successful candidate will lead a dynamic team of sales promoters, build strong relationships with merchants, and ensure that promotional material is effectively displayed throughout the territory. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a detailed sales plan that aligns with regional targets, ensuring that the overall revenue objectives for Bengkulu are met or exceeded.
  • Conduct daily visits to merchants and store points‑of‑contact (PIC) to strengthen relationships, gather market intelligence, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Oversee the proper placement and rotation of POP (point‑of‑purchase) promotional materials, guaranteeing maximum brand exposure in high‑traffic areas.
  • Coordinate closely with partner operational teams to obtain timely information on competitor activities, sales performance, and field‑level challenges.
  • Lead, coach, and supervise a team of 15–20 sales promoters, providing clear direction, performance feedback, and motivation to achieve daily and weekly goals.
  • Monitor promoter activities through regular reporting, field audits, and performance dashboards, taking corrective action when necessary.
  • Design and deliver ongoing training sessions, refresher courses, and skill‑building workshops to enhance the team’s product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to propose adjustments to promotional strategies, pricing, and product positioning.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, inventory of promotional assets, and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Participate in shift work, including evenings and weekends, to ensure continuous coverage of key retail locations.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a Diploma or higher is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in sales, preferably within financial services such as insurance, unit trusts, or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of managing and motivating a small to medium‑sized sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with merchants, internal stakeholders, and team members.
  • Strong analytical mindset for interpreting sales data, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for reporting and performance tracking.
  • Comfortable using social media and digital marketing tools to support promotional campaigns.
  • Flexibility to work a shifting schedule (Monday–Saturday, 11:00‑20:00) and travel frequently within the Bengkulu area.
