Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and creative Intern Graphic Designer to join our dynamic design team at our headquarters in Tapos, Depok. This internship offers hands‑on experience in visual communication, allowing you to develop a solid portfolio while working on real‑world projects for a variety of brand initiatives. The position is full‑time, Monday through Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00, and requires a willingness to work on‑site (WFO). Candidates must be enrolled in or have completed at least a high school diploma (SMA/SMK) and possess a personal laptop for daily design tasks.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and produce high‑quality graphic assets such as posters, flyers, brochures, and digital banners that align with the company’s brand guidelines.
- Interpret marketing briefs, collaborate with the marketing team, and translate strategic objectives into compelling visual solutions.
- Assist in creating and scheduling engaging graphics for the company’s social‑media platforms, ensuring consistency across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
- Support senior designers in preparing files for print production, including color proofing, bleed setup, and pre‑press checks.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, contribute fresh ideas, and stay abreast of current design trends, typography, and visual storytelling techniques.
- Maintain organized project files and asset libraries to facilitate efficient workflow and easy retrieval for future campaigns.
- Conduct quick research on competitors and industry best practices to inspire innovative design concepts.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; currently studying graphic design, visual communication, or a related field is a plus.
- Proficiency with industry‑standard design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Affinity Designer, and Figma.
- Strong understanding of layout principles, typography, colour theory, and both print and web design fundamentals.
- Creative mindset with a high level of motivation, curiosity, and a willingness to learn quickly (fast learner).
- Excellent communication skills, able to receive feedback constructively and articulate design rationales.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Personal laptop meeting the software requirements and reliable internet connectivity for research and asset downloading.
- Portfolio showcasing a range of graphic design work, including print and digital projects, must be submitted with the application.
