Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Petugas Keamanan Gedung Perkantoran (Office Building Security Officer) to join our professional facilities management team. The successful candidate will be the front‑line guardian of a modern office complex, ensuring a safe and secure environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, keen observation skills, and the ability to act decisively in emergency situations while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Monitor all entry and exit points, verify identification, and control access to the building in accordance with company policies.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including lobbies, elevators, stairwells, parking areas, and auxiliary facilities, to detect and deter potential security threats.
- Respond promptly to alarms, fire drills, medical emergencies, and other incidents, coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, incident reports, and visitor registers, ensuring that all documentation complies with legal and regulatory standards.
- Operate and oversee surveillance equipment (CCTV), performing routine checks to guarantee proper functionality and reporting any technical issues.
- Assist in the implementation of security protocols, including crowd control during events, evacuation procedures, and the management of lost and found items.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and offering directions while upholding the company’s image of professionalism.
- Participate in regular training sessions, drills, and refresher courses to stay current with the latest security techniques and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with building management, maintenance crews, and other security personnel to ensure a cohesive approach to safety and risk mitigation.
Requirements
- General Criteria: Female candidates, typically aged 18–35 years, with a minimum height of approximately 160 cm and a proportional, healthy physique.
- Education: Minimum of SMA/SMK (high school) or equivalent.
- Certification: Must hold a valid Gada Pratama (basic security guard training) certificate, the recognized standard for security professionals in Indonesia.
- Experience: At least 1 year of prior security or related experience in a corporate or commercial environment.
- Key Skills:
- Disciplined and assertive with the ability to enforce rules firmly yet respectfully.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with tenants, visitors, and emergency responders.
- Ability to assess and manage emergency situations swiftly and calmly.
- Sharp observational skills to notice irregularities or suspicious behavior.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends (Tuesday‑Sunday, 08:00‑17:00).
- Appearance: Clean, professional grooming; no excessive tattoos or piercings; glasses permitted only under specified conditions.
- Personal Qualities: High integrity, reliability, teamwork orientation, and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
