Introduction
We are seeking an energetic and professional Waiter/Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast‑paced environment, possess a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences, and are eager to grow within the hospitality industry. The position offers a full‑time schedule, Monday through Saturday, with working hours from 08:00 to 17:00.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a clear explanation of daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them to the kitchen and bar staff, and ensure timely delivery to the table.
- Demonstrate in‑depth knowledge of Chinese and Western cuisine, including ingredients, preparation methods, and appropriate wine or beverage pairings.
- Monitor tables throughout service, anticipate guest needs, and respond promptly to any requests or issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and resetting tables, polishing silverware, and ensuring proper table hygiene.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS system entries accurately, providing correct change and receipts.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to ensure smooth operation and seamless guest experiences.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and restaurant policies, including proper handling of allergens and dietary restrictions.
- Participate in pre‑shift briefings and post‑shift debriefs, offering feedback for continuous improvement.
- Assist with inventory checks, restocking of service stations, and occasional opening/closing duties as required.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only.
- Preferably experienced in serving Chinese and/or Western cuisine.
- Strong work ethic: honest, disciplined, and highly responsible.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Neat appearance, proactive attitude, and willingness to take initiative.
- Own a motorbike and a valid SIM C driving licence.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends (Monday‑Saturday schedule).
