Responsibilities

- Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to the restaurant’s standards for presentation and temperature.
- Prepare and maintain service equipment, including napkins, cutlery, glassware, and condiments, ensuring everything is clean and well‑stocked.
- Set up tables before service and clear them efficiently after guests depart, resetting for the next party.
- Maintain a clean and orderly dining area, including regular checks of floor, chairs, and décor for any spills or hazards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, bar personnel, and fellow servers to coordinate smooth service flow.
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve minor complaints, and escalate more serious issues to the shift supervisor.
- Process payments accurately, issue receipts, and manage cash handling procedures.
- Participate in briefings and debriefings, sharing feedback and suggestions for service improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 20–25 years old (flexible for exceptional candidates).
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar wait‑staff role within a restaurant, café, or hotel setting.
- Professional, presentable appearance with a pleasant smile.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays (Monday‑Sunday, 08:00‑17:00).
- Honesty, reliability, and a high level of dedication to customer satisfaction.
- Excellent teamwork, quick adaptation to fast‑paced environments, and a willingness to learn.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and familiarity with POS (point‑of‑sale) systems.
