Working with the regional User Experience Design (UED) team, this role and will focus on supporting the regional user research team, with execution of user research and bringing in consumer insights and consulting, to help guide UX Designers and Business Teams, across the SEA region, on developing and improving Lazada’s platform. The Researcher will manage regional projects, moderate qualitative studies, and prepare deliverables for qualitative and quantitative research projects.
What would your day look like?
Responsible for the successful management of project operations and delivery of projects
Manage day-to-day communication with relevant stakeholders and collaboration teams
Moderate qualitative in-depth interviews and focus group discussions in English and local language – Bahasa Indonesia (phone, in-person, online, etc.)
Designing of discussion guides and questionnaire, content analysis of transcripts, data analysis from raw data and creation of reports
Ensuring reports are accurate and timely prepared using MS PowerPoint
Discuss recommendations and provide consulting on way-forward to the Business Teams
Support the user research team on any other projects and initiatives, including Quantitative research and Usability Testing
Job Requirements
What are we looking for in you?
6 to 8 years market research experience is mandatory, preferably gained at an agency, demand-side primary market research
A mix of Qual-Quant background is essential
Understanding of qualitative frameworks and knowledge of projective techniques
Knowledge of Quantitative research, designing survey questionnaire, using SPSS / Q, and any online survey scripting software
Familiarity with execution of entire project cycle for research studies i.e. setup to report delivery
Strong Project Management capabilities (managing timelines and stakeholder communication)
Proficiency in written and verbal English and local language - Bahasa Indonesia
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
