Introduction
Kyuka Ramen, a fast‑growing Japanese‑style ramen restaurant chain, is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join its operations team as Steward – Pengelola Operasional Fasilitas. This position is critical to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency that our guests expect at each of our bustling outlets across Indonesia. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic, fast‑paced food‑and‑beverage (F&B) environment, supporting kitchen staff, ensuring sanitation, and contributing to the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down work surfaces before, during, and after service.
- Wash, sanitize, and organize all eating and drinking utensils, ensuring they are ready for use at peak times.
- Receive, store, and arrange kitchen equipment and supplies in accordance with safety and inventory guidelines.
- Assist chefs and kitchen assistants with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and restocking stations.
- Perform routine maintenance on kitchen tools, reporting any defects and coordinating repairs to avoid service interruptions.
- Provide extra support during high‑volume periods, helping to expedite orders and keep service flow smooth.
- Keep restroom facilities clean, stocked with necessary supplies, and compliant with health‑regulation standards.
- Follow all company hygiene protocols, including proper hand‑washing, use of protective gear, and waste segregation.
- Participate in daily briefings, reporting any issues that could affect kitchen operations or guest safety.
- Assist in inventory checks and assist the manager with ordering low‑stock items.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age range: 18 – 35 years.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy pots, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Previous experience in the F&B sector is a strong plus, though fresh graduates with the right attitude are encouraged to apply.
- Strong commitment to hygiene standards and an eye for detail.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills; must be able to follow instructions promptly.
- Reliability and punctuality – attendance is critical, especially during peak service hours.
- Not currently enrolled in any academic program (full‑time availability required).
- Willingness to be placed in any of our outlet locations across Jakarta, Bekasi, Surabaya, and Depok.
Benefits
- Competitive base salary: Rp 1.200.000 per month.
- Meal allowance: Rp 300.000 per month.
- Transportation allowance: Rp 300.000 per month.
- Performance‑based sales bonus ranging from Rp 500.000 to Rp 1.500.000.
- Annual religious holiday allowance (THR) in accordance with Indonesian labor law.
- Clear career progression: after a successful 3‑month probation, you will transition to a second‑phase contract with opportunities for salary increase based on performance evaluations.
- Training programs focused on food safety, sanitation, and basic kitchen operations.
- Uniforms and protective equipment provided by the company.
- One day off per week (note: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are not eligible for weekly off).
